On the left, is ‘si tpers’, teknologi pendidikan-ers (students’ of educational technology). The term ‘si tpers was raised in early 2005 at the Super-camp. Si tpers holds a palm-top type of computer on its left hand and a drawing brush on the right. Palm-top symbolizes the digital era that influences learning and instruction, while the drawing brush is for conventional pattern of schools. Both are appropriate for the 21st schools, at the era of the globalization. 21st century learners have the capacity of being self-directed since all facilities are at their finger tips.
There is a moral standard vision beneath si tpers : Technology, Creativity, and Fun for learning as explained :
technology : technology advancement enhances the quality of the 21st learning and instruction model
creativity : the 21st generation focuses on the capability of being dynamic and future-oriented with nonlinear pattern of thinking and learning; creativity supports every individual student to be self-directed learner
fun for learning : learning may be created through both formal and nonformal situations. Learning should be fun and motivating to every individual learner.

The official homepage / website is named after a famous island, which has become a worldwide icon, Bali. Homepage is www.web-bali.net, that is web-based Learning Indonesia. The homepage is constructed to promote the department as a whole system. There are spaces for :

Websites are www.courses.web-bali.net and www.training.web-bali.net. These are official websites built up for different functions. Domain www.courses.web-bali is created to offer online, web-based courses for the benefit of all students of Dept of Curriculum and Educational Technology; while www.training.web-bali.net is a space for trainees to practice designing online courses including content, learning assessment, virtual instructional strategies and product development. Both websites apply ‘claroline (classroom online)’, from an open source, which belongs to LCMS, as the platform. This platform focuses upon activities conducted in a virtual classroom. The web-based courses becomes as part of the curriculum offered by the department, as a subsystem or an enrichment program for conventional instruction. It is a hybrid learning program that is able to solve the lack of classrooms and the over limit of students.

It may be useful as a discussion forum or a space for sharing ideas and knowledge among those who are educational technologists or people interested in the field.
